Joseph Pluta

Mr. Pluta kindly took my case after a previous attorney refused to provide medical reports in spite of multiple calls and letters requesting them. Since my case was advanced and even though my medical problems were numerous, which is typically a more valuable case to an attorney, I couldn't find ano...ther attorney to take my case until I found Mr. Pluta. Most attorneys refuse to take those cases because it is more work for them to get up to speed. In addition, the defense was very difficult to deal with and made for additional work as well. I have typically made a trip to his office to get copies of medical reports as they have come in but I have always received a copy upon request. Mr. Pluta also had to go to court on my behalf a couple of times and he fought for me each time. The workers' compensation system is cold and unforgiving. I have found a little reading and research has helped me as well as periodic questions with Mr. Pluta. He has taken time to explain my options when it came time to start executing decisions related to my case. The waiting is hard when you are sick and as is typical with a work injury, financially stressed.
