Jay Jimmie Honaker

If I could give him less then 1 star I would..i fired him after he did nothing to help me and dragged my case out past 5 years !! I only talked to him 2 times the entire time he was my lawyer and both times he was rude ....so rude I had to tell kandi that she had to be involved in our conversations b...ecause he treats his clients like he is the defense lawyer....DO NOT HIRE HIM......

I reviewed mr. Honaker in a different site. Hired him in 2007 and they did nothing. Finally got to a hearing 2009 why are he surprised me with settlement documents. Candy d paralegal I just informed previous that this case was nowhere near settling. Mr. Honaker insisted if this case needed to settle ...that day. I had demands he met them and I signed then without telling me he removed my demands do the insurance companies favor am I damaged. Mr. Honaker looks out for his own interests only regardless the damage cause to his client. I'm still trying to straighten this out. I recommend avoiding Honaker at all cost.

I too have not had any good experience with Jay Honaker. I was referred by the law offices of Larry H Parker and thought I was in good hands until I started feeling neglected. Never once I received a call back on time. I can say for every 12-15 calls I received one back. I mean 2-3 calls a week i...s not excessive. When I did get a call back they were not prepared at all and had to check on my case to get back to me(then why call). I was never given the correct information and all of a sudden I found out my attorney Jay Honaker didn't respond in time and my case was dismissed and I had to hire another attorney to sue Honaker which then turned out that he doesn't have any assets in his name!! What a shyster!! There should be a way to attach his wages like any other working class citizen!! My opinion - He should be banned or fined from BAR to practice Law. Worst services I have ever dealt with and hopefully the last!!

I was referred to Mr. Honaker's firm by Larry H. Parker. I retained Mr. Honaker after my initial consultation with his paralegal. Mr. Honaker represented me for roughly three months. In that time they were unsuccessful in obtaining disability benefits from the adjustor, returning phone calls was a...n extreme rarity, I would not receive updates, copies of notices, etc. I was not really satisfied with the doctor Mr. Honaker sent me to, as his staff is completely understaffed, a hour and a half to two hours wait time to see the doctor, just to say the least. My utilities were in jeopardy of being shut off and there was no real plans to resolve the benefits issue. I will say Mr. Honaker's office was extremely fast to provide lien for services once they were fired and another attorney was hired to represent me.
