Unfortunately one late night me and my now soon to be ex-wife had got into a verbal altercation which then soon escalated to physical ,due to the fact she was temperamental and had quite the short fuse, in which she proceeded to throw things at me and put HER hands on ME! Therefore immediately I trie...d to leave and gather my belongings to go stay at a friends house then she kept this barrage of fists going then in self defence I pushed her off of me, I couldn’t take anymore punches and verbal onslaught. We both end up leaving the house separately to get away from each other...except she went to her parents house & I ended up going to jail, and keep in mind my ex wife is young WHITE woman and I’m a young BLACK man so without question in the officers’ eyes I was in the wrong apparently..... but I have family that’s in law enforcement so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and told them the truth as anyone would do if they were innocent right? Little did I know how wrong I was they were already convinced since in DV cases the guy is the one in the wrong, I ended up spending 3-4 days in jail, then once I got out I was appointed a public defender; which he told me that I needed take a “plea deal” for xyz even though I have no criminal past and in that deal included 6 months jail time 3 years probation.... so I hired a local private attorney within my budget at the time before I hired Mr. Thompson, and that previous attorney didn’t give any results he just delayed the proceedings half a year then he eventually told me he couldn’t do anything for me and that I would have to do some time and to “suck it up kid take accountability for your actions!”. Without hesitation his services were terminated after that meeting then the next week I was introduced to Mr. Jared Thompson! He went right to work cleaning up all the holes in my case that my previous attorneys could not fix, I waited patiently to see some results but felt confident after I heard Jared’s “plan of attack” so-to-speak and after a few meetings; Jared told me he’d do all he could to the best of his abilities, and that’s what he did, next thing you know my case was dismissed!! So we go back to court a little while later to get my property back that the police repossessed, only to find out that there was a refiling on my case and there I was back in cuffs right before I had to go to work! So I contacted my family after bailing out AGAIN! As livid as I was, Jared reassured me to fear not, so I did just that and we prepared to repeat the process however this time I went to trial and Jared once again amazed me as he not only cheered me up; since I thought I was for sure going to prison for a crime I did not commit, but the way he stood up for me in the court room stating key facts I failed to over look! In conclusion what he said, showed, did by far was more than enough to prove my innocence once again and convince the jury of an ACQUITTAL! The moment they said not guilty on all counts I broke down and gave praise to the most high and embraced Jared for a hug because he save my life TWICE.... Lastly I’d like to say on behalf of my family, friends, and loved one we are forever grateful not only to have my freedom, but mainly to Mr. Thompson since without him as my sword and shield in court I don’t think I would have made it through this war. This is why I left a lengthy review because in my honest opinion Jared Thompson, Esquire; is unmatched when it comes to criminal defence and his knowledge of the law! Not to mention the guy knows how to dress, every time we went to court each suit was better than the last!!!

I got falsely arrested by the police and then charged with felonies by the District Attorney. They wanted to send me to state prison. I hired Jared Thompson because he had helped out a family member.
