James Leon Faulkner

I spent four years in the United States Air Force as an air policeman. After honorable discharge I attanded Bakersfield College (AA Degree) and transferred to San Francisco State (BA Degree). While i was in college I worked as a bail bondsman. After graduation i worked as an insurance adjuster for one year and the as a private investigator in San Francisco. In 1969 i returned to Bakersfield and worked as a juvenile probation officer for 1 1/2 years. I then started my own private investigation practice and started commuting to Glendale to attend law school. I graduated with a JD in 1974, passed the bar and started practicing law in Bakersfield, in the areas of crimnal defense, personal injury and workers compensation. In the criminal area i tired traffic tickets to death penalty. Many of these wer high profile and complicated. I was also trying personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and products liabilty cases. I have tried approximately 300 jury trials during my career. I taught law school at Pacific College of Law for three years in Torts.

I now practice with my wife Kathleen and son Matthew. We represent people in personal injury, brain injuries and wrongful death.
