Michelle Denise Wallis

Michelle D. Wallis is a seasoned attorney with a diverse educational and professional background, with an extensive focus in criminal defense and family law. She earned her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, supplemented by studies at the University of Bergen in Norway and a minor in Global Peace & Security. Michelle attended California Western School of Law in San Diego and furthered her legal training with a comparative law program at Trinity College, Dublin. Her legal career began with valuable experience at the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office, San Diego Public Defender’s Office, and Monterey County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor in Kings and Tulare Counties, she handled a wide breadth of cases, focusing on narcotics trafficking, gang activity, and juvenile cases. Michelle also served at the Office of the Inspector General, providing oversight for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
