Robert Martin Dowd

     I am the managing partner at Griswold, LaSalle, Cobb, Dowd & Gin law firm in Hanford, CA. In my 35 years at the firm, I have been a part of numerous cases with a concentration in civil litigation, government, and agricultural cooperatives.

     I was born and raised in Hanford, California. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University. I then attended the U.S. Marine Corps The Basic School where I graduated with honors. After five years of service, I went to California Western School of Law where I graduated magna cum laude. I am a Retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, two children, and three grandchildren.

     My goal is to use my extensive experience, skills, and thoroughness to create the best case I can for my clients. I am Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, have been awarded the highest personal rating of AV by Martindale-Hubbell, and have been selected by the San Francisco Magazine as a Super Lawyer in Northern California for the years 2007-2016. I am also a member by invitation to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), and the International Society of Barristers (ISOB).
