Consulted with Mr. Penner on estate planning and to draft a simple will. We had come to him because he was recommended by our legal plan and he had a previously negotiated rate with them. Ignored us and made us wait for nearly an hour for our appointment even though nobody else was there, then took d...own our info and at the end proceeded to tell us that he was going to charge many times the previously negotiated rate. We asked him to try to straighten it out with the legal plan but... Nothing. No follow up, didn't return phone calls, total radio silence for weeks. Once finally reached by the legal plan, he said he was 'no longer available'. If you want someone to waste hours of your time for nothing, he's your guy. The least he could have done was call us back and apologize for the confusion or to at least tell us directly he no longer wanted to do the work.

I went to Mr. Penner to help with my Aunt's estate documents. I am in deep gratitude to him and his legal staff for the exemplary work they did on our behalf.
