Lee Allen McCoy

Despite other reviews on here, I will share about my experience with him back in 2005; I understand that he may be going through some troubles right now, but by all means it's no excuse to hold peoples money and time. I hired Lee A. Mccoy to defend me in a dmv hearing and writ situation. He did ...a very good job, was timely, and professional. At the end we had positive outcomes, and I guaranteed him that I would send him further referrals. I have been meaning to contact him since I heard all this news. If you are a new potential client, please be sure to do your due diligence.

I hired Mr. McCoy for my DMV matter in Sep. 2008 and after paying him over $3,000 in fees, he truly vanished and left myself as well as many other clients in the dust. According to the State Bar of California, he has several complaints against him, and is currently no longer licensed to practice law.... I highly encourage anyone to stay away from Mr. McCoy while he still may be practicing.

Lee McCoy was my new best friend for an hour and 45 minutes in his office. Until he got my check. Then he vanished off the face of the earth. I had one email promising to have something for me w/in two days and then I heard nothing further over the course of the following two weeks (the check must no...t have cleared yet when he sent that one email). He replied to no telephone or email inquiries, did not keep me informed in any way, and, for all I know at this point, has not taken any action on the matter I hired him for, and it is a time sensitive matter with a deadline looming. My primary attorney has also left messages for him and he has not responded to those either. Checking with the California State Bar website, I see that Mr. McCoy has had his license to practice suspended several times and has had disciplinary action taken against him.
