My fields of expertise include product liability, claims management, and contracts.  I have litigated hundreds of cases with very good results.  I have also overseen ("Quarterbacked") hundreds of product related claims with a very high rate of success resulting in significant cost savings to the companies I have been retained to help. 

I have been involved in all aspects of civil and criminal litigation, including but not limited to personal injury claims, government tort liability, breach of contract, real estate/business disputes, professional liability, securities, misdemeanors and serious felonies.

I have volunteered as a settlement master, arbitrator and mediator for several courts in southern California and enjoy a solid reputation as a neutral.

I have also been engaged on numerous occasions to assist with family law and estate planning matters.

Many believe that the true path to success involves specialization.  I disagree.  I think the best lawyer to have is one that has been around the block a few times and walked in all sorts of shoes.

My wife and I recently completed 11,000 nautical mile circumnavigation around the eastern half of the United States aboard a 41 foot trawler via America’s Gulf Coast and Atlantic Intercoastal Waterways, the Hudson River, the Erie Canal, the Great Lakes, and the Western River System.

Prior to practicing law full time, I was deeply involved in the recreational SCUBA diving industry and in commercial diving as a SCUBA Diving Instructor, Store Retail and Education Manager.

Moreover, for most of my life I have been a boating enthisiast.  I have accumulated more than 45,000 sea miles and have enjoyed sharing my waterborne experiences as an educator and lecturer.
