Biography
I am Attorney Ashley Danielle Reese, born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Attended Undergrad at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and graduated with a B.A. in sports management and communications. I came back home and worked a full time job as a loan officer assistant at a mortgage bank while attending law school at night at Southern California Institute of Law in Santa Barbara, CA. I graduated from law school in June 2015 with a Juris Doctorate and passed the California bar in July 2016. I started out at the Santa Barbara Public Defender's Office, but now am a Solo Practitioner at the Law Offices of Ashley Reese. My practice areas vary from Expungements & Criminal Defense, to Business Formation and Trademark law. In 2019 I was admitted to the Central District of California Federal Court & was the Keynote Speaker at Cal State Channel Islands Black Student Union Graduation ceremony. And in 2020 I was recently named Top 40 Under 40 with the Black National Lawyers.
