Denise Ann Houghton

I was recently a client of Denise's. She was unresponsive to phone calls and email, often taking weeks to reply. She was not aggressive as she claimed she would be and allowed my case to drag on for almost a year when it should have been done in less than a month. During the time she dragged out m...y case she continued to bill me for unnecessary work resulting in a bill 4 times larger than she said it should cost. When I brought this up to her and her staff she threatened me to submit a change of attorney if I didn't like the way she did things. Of course this was in the middle of the case and would have left me hanging and I would lose the money I had already paid her. In the end, she did not accomplish any of the things we discussed at the time I hired her.
