My Experience With 805LegalTeam

I worked with Nathan Passavant and Dustin last year and part of this year. I found them online and noticed them. When I called--I found them to be very affordable and caring about my case. I was trying to get my son back and get full custody of him from a family member who was living dangerously. It ...was a troubling situation and I really needed help. I had found other lawyers, but they were expensive and some were very rude. So--I liked this one and chose it instead. My church prayed for a long time for my son to be returned to me. But Passavant was working behind the scenes to write letters for me to receive him back from the Other Party in the case. We ended up not going to court--as my prayers were answered--and between the persuasive letters from 805LegalTeam and God--my son was returned to me full-time. I had hoped to receive more from the retainer--but I am going to receive what was in the agreement, which is a partial amount. I would have liked to get back more. But--all things considered, the situation turned out better for us here in Templeton. Thank you 805LegalTeam!!

Did you even care?

No guarantees was clearly stated to me as part of the consultation with this attorney. I decided to hire him based on his convincing me that there could be motions to file, research to do, and at least somewhat of a fight that could be done. You see, this is a CPS case. A fight for my grandson who wa...s placed into the system, severed from his mother due to her lack of follow through. I came into the picture just after that, due to my own societal misconduct. Nothing so bad as to keep a child from his biological family. After numerous attempts to get to meet and bond with my grandson, CPS just kept stringing me along. I did all the RFA requirements, completed, at the direction of the CPS supervisor in my grandsons case , just to be told I did it in the wrong county. Couldn’t my attorney have stepped in and filed something? He did nothing. He didn’t even return my phone calls or emails ( and I sent many!) all I was ever told was he was still doing research. He didn’t even try for me. Today, I think (because I can’t get the information because it’s a juvenile case and privacy issues apply) is the final court date. I’ve lost the grandson I’ll never meet without so much as a first meeting with him. Once the case is closed, everyone closes the file and it will probably never cross their minds again. For my grandson and I it will be a lifetime of wonder and hurt and the missed opportunity to be a REAL family. Just something to think about when your attorney hunting....make sure they are as compassionate about your fight as you are. When it’s too late, it’s really over.
