Steven Benjamin Hilton

Steven B. Hilton’s primary areas of practice include tax, business, estate planning, and real estate matters. His areas of expertise include individual, partnership, and corporate income taxation, and estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation.

Prior to joining LRMMT, Steven worked for a large firm in Los Angeles where he advised high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships on complex federal, state, and international tax issues. Among his many accomplishments, he assisted a large, publicly traded client in planning an international reorganization involving hundreds of entities across several jurisdictions.

Steven is a magna cum laude graduate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He also studied accounting at BYU, where he received his B.S. and M.S. in taxation from the highly ranked Marriott School of Business. Steven was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2015.

Steven is a native Southern Californian and was raised in Moorpark on a lemon and avocado farm. He has also lived in Hawaii and spent two years in India on a humanitarian leadership assignment, where he developed a strong love for Indian food.

Steven currently resides in Moorpark with his wife, Stephanie, and their children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys riding ATVs in Southern Utah. Steven is actively involved in his church, where he and his wife both serve as youth leaders.
