Do Not Trust This Man

In 2010 we were referred to Kimberly Thompson of the Law Offices of Christopher J. Van Son by an acquaintance who was using them to obtain a loan modification. I was contacted by Ms. Thompson who informed me that once I have provided all paperwork and the case was accepted I would be billed $2800 fo...r their services. The paperwork was provided and the payment was auto deducted from my account. No loan modification was ever obtained from Wells Fargo bank. In fact Wells Fargo informed me the attorney had never seriously contacted them for any type of workout. I was then informed by Thompson and Van Son along with another associate of theirs Robert Berellez that a Mass Joinder would be the way to go. So based on that I became part of a Mass Joinder that Van Son in conjunction with Kramer and Kaslow had filed against Wells Fargo. I was charged $2500 for Van Son and $2500 for Kramer. $5000 was again auto deducted from my account by Ms. Thompson. So now I was out a total of $7500. Repeated efforts to ascertain status of the Mass Joinder was never provided by either the offices of Van Son or Kramer. When pushed Ms. Thompson continually advised we would be contacted. That never happened. They were then shut down California Attorney General’s office had filed suit against numerous fraudulent attorneys and the offices of Kramer & Kaslow and Christopher J. Van Son were named. In addition, Ms. Thompson advised a Chapter 13 should be filed In order to seek protection from foreclosure. On 2 separate occasions paperwork was sent to me to file myself with the Chapter 13 Trustee. Both times the cases were thrown out due to lack of appropriate paperwork from my attorney. I am attempting to have all monies returned but at this point that seems futile. I filed and won a small claims action against Van Son for $7500. Van Son has ignored the order to pay and an Abstract of Judgement has been filed. Both Van Son and Kimberly Thompsons telephones have been disconnected
