I specialize in defending employers in a range of labor and employment disputes, including those involving alleged wage and hour violations (individual and class action), employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, workplace safety and health violations, unfair labor practices, and invasion of privacy. I have successfully resolved these disputes in state and federal courts (at both the trial and appellate levels), before various administrative agencies, and through alternative dispute resolutions.  

In addition to litigating cases, I provide preventive advice and training regarding employee termination and discipline decisions, layoffs, disability accommodations, drafting employment agreements and policies, wage and hour compliance, employee vs. independent contractor classification issues, workplace safety and health, leaves of absences, and employment related investigations. I also advise employers on processes to preserve, collect, review, and produce electronically stored information that is defensible, effective, and efficient.
