did not perform as advertised

Posner gave me a false impression of the case and did not identify the difficulties. He just wanted the money. He also did not accurately defend it on a major issue and then tried to blame me for his negligence. He tries to make things look good so he will look good. Would not recommend him. You don...'t know what you are getting until it is too late.

Michael Posner Review

I was referred to Mike Posner by a very weak labor union to which I belonged. In fairness to Mr. Posner, the union rep I had already horribly mangled an eminently winnable case: nothing was stolen, nobody was threatened, no sabotage was committed, and, when I left, I had a dispensing error rate of 0....000088...) - none of these facts were brought out in arbitration for the simple reason that Posner didn't want to take it to arbitration. Initially, he wanted me to settle for $40,000 less than what I settled for - keep in mind that I lost out on 3-1/2 years of salary - a huge loss. In addition to this, And I had to sign away my rights to sue my boss who committed provable slander/liable. Posner never gave me the impression that he cared about my case. I read the other Posner review - that certainly did not sound like the Posner I had. Super lawyer? Not in my book! Caveat emptor!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
