Eric Stephen Pommer

Eric Pommer has over 30 years experience providing legal counsel to various high-tech companies. During this time, in addition to legal work, he has been involved in operations management, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, business process design, private and public company transactions, commercial and federal government contracts administration. He directly managed both RDT&E hardware projects and software development programs for such companies as Geo InSight International, Abex Aerospace, and Martin Marietta Aerospace. More recently, Mr. Pommer served as the general counsel of XerTech Inc. and of TechnoConcepts Inc., both publicly traded companies. He has also served on the board of directors of several companies, including Geo InSight International, Broadband Telecom, and Pacific Investment Bank.

Mr. Pommer received an MS in Systems Management from USC in 1989, a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (formerly Western State University College of Law of San Diego) in 1977, and a BA from Pomona College in 1973. A member of the California Bar Association since 1977, Mr. Pommer was elected a Fellow of the National Contract Management Association in 1993 and published an article in the Public Contracts Law Journal in 1996 (25.Pub. Cont. L.J. 249). He has been a member of the faculty of the Southern California Institute of Law since 1991, where he has taught Corporations Law, Business Organizations Law, Estate Planning, Wills & Trusts Law, Entertainment Law, Contracts Law, and Federal Government Contracts Law. He currently also serves as Vice Dean of the law school's Ventura campus.
