Client shot ex wife on the couch in his living room three times from approximately 8 feet away. Prior to shooting client and ex were in verbal altercation, client went into garage found a gun and load ... ed it before shooting ex wife. DA sought conviction for 1st degree murder, defense was voluntary manslaughter due to heat of passion.
