West Douglas Imboden

West Imboden is a Senior Associate Attorney at Preston Law Group, and is licensed to practice law in California. West’s background consists primarily of Creditor’s Rights litigation on behalf of Big Banks. West also acquired experience in Criminal Law, having worked in the Major Fraud Unit of the Orange County District Attorney’s office. In addition, West also involved himself in Pro Bono work for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County where he assisted indigent individuals in the areas of Family Law and Evictions. West’s experience on both sides gives him valuable insight into the daily struggles people face and drives his passion to help. West’s passion is evident in both the office and in the courtroom.

West first earned his Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Santa Ana College, and then earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Ancient & Medieval European History from California State University of Long Beach. Knowing that he wanted to be an attorney since the age of 12, West then attended and earned his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law in Orange County, California.

West was born and raised in Orange County, California, and was brought up in a family of police officers. In his free time, West can usually be found in some gym or public park training for a Scottish Highland Games strength competition. West’s dedication to this sport has earned him numerous awards, trophies, and multiple invites to national championship competitions. West also now spends his time playing the saxophone, a skill he acquired in elementary school and played up until he had to give it a break to get through law school and pass the bar exam.
