Radar is not necessary. The cop's testimony may be sufficient. Appear at your arraignment and set the matter for trial if you wish to contest it....

A cop will not "sign off" if you cannot provide proof that YOU have valid insurance. Get auto insurance and ask your BF to add you to his policy....
