⭐ 1 Star — Serious Concerns About Ethics, Communication, and Transparency This was one of the most concerning professional experiences I’ve ever had. I retained this firm during a highly sensitive divorce and domestic violence matter. Like many clients in this position, I was relying on them fo...r guidance, protection, and advocacy during a very difficult time. During the intake process, they were extremely confident—stating they regularly handle cases like mine and assuring me they could help. Based on those representations, I paid a retainer of over $4,000. What followed raised serious red flags. I was never provided a meaningful face-to-face meeting despite multiple requests. Communication was limited, and there was little to no substantive legal work performed on my case. After taking my retainer and reviewing my situation, I was abruptly told they could not assist me and they withdrew representation. Even more concerning, I was billed beyond the retainer. The most alarming issue, however, was learning that there were discussions involving my ex-wife during the time I was their client—without my knowledge or clear explanation of what was discussed. As a client, not knowing the nature of those communications raised serious concerns for me regarding confidentiality, transparency, and whose interests were actually being represented. At a minimum, I expected: • Clear communication • Transparency in all interactions related to my case • Alignment and advocacy on my behalf Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The intake process was polished and convincing, but the follow-through did not reflect the level of professionalism or client care that was initially presented. If you are considering legal representation for a serious and personal matter, I would strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions upfront and carefully evaluate whether this firm is the right fit. I wish I had done that, this was the worst law firm I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
