Lisa Carol Leversen

She was a state appointed attorney for me On a case which I had tried to take the charges for a friend and he got charged and instead of helping me she just wanted to get me off her list it seemed is she basically Pressured me into pleading guilty now I'm on probation for the 1st time in my life e...ver and my life is screwed.

For the short time that Ms. Leversen was my state appointed attorney, she never put in any effort to communicate with me regarding my case. I tried to communicate with her and she never picked up my calls or responded to my emails. The one time I finally met her in person while in the court room, in ...front of the clerk, the bailiff, and the district attorney she tried to pressure me to sign a bad deal and yelled very unprofessional comments at me and accused me of being guilty. She accused me without ever meeting me or reviewing my case. Ms. Leversen acted very unprofessional and I feel like she had a bias against me because I am Hispanic and a former gang member. Due to unprofessionalism and misconduct in the courtroom I would not recommend anyone to hire Ms. Leversen.
