No, employers are not supposed to do such. However, you would have no way of knowing if they did.

My husband have been off parole for 8 yrs now, he was caught with cocaine I am not sure how much he says it for personal use.

Call his PD and tell them all you know ie no physical contact, reluctance to testify. Have hubby suggest to PD a restraint be put on him. A strike...
