The hiring of an attorney does not "guarantee" anything. Going to court without one, however, is like taking a stick to a gunfight.
Can two individuals be charged with the same crime, if one has already plead guilty to all counts?

I hate to say it, but the penalty is a statutory requirement. The only hope is to get a non-alcohol plea. Talk to counsel.
