Liar not lawyer

This man is nothing than a joke I don’t know how he still practicing the law he shouldn’t have a license long time ago he took 10k from me to do nothing than leave me alone and my case, he must pay people for the two last reviews, saying good things about him. Do a favor to your self and don’t waist ...your money liar not lawyer.

Good Attorney well worth the money

I have used Cory many times. First time was 23 years ago for an assault & battery charge. What the other review said about getting court extensions is true. He did that to me the first time I used him. Criminal cases are usually paid in advance. He allows payment plans, but has to be paid in ful...l before your case is decided. Thats probably why he requested extensions. He is easier to deal with once you have established credit. I have gone from paying in advance & going through extensions to having him appear with just a phone call and no money in advance. He is not unreasonable. Sometimes he is unable to get you out of trouble. That happens. He has done a lot for my family. If I got into trouble again I would call him.

money hungry

Will do nothing for your case he will postpone the case at his convenience cause he has too many cases ,you will be at court he will not show and you call his secretary not him of course and they tell you oh we postponed your case cause we need to talk to the da or whatever and you miss work again an...d again. The public defender told me weather I used them or him what was going to happen and exactly that happened. I'm sure he knew he could do nothing for me in my case but took it for the money anyway I missed lots of work and the case dragged out for a year with all his postponements that were at his convenience cause he had too many clients, this guy will not help you do yourself a favor and don't give him your money cause he,ll take it for nothing ,this guy is a big jerk and deserves to go to hell.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
