Stephanie has been a native to Southern California her entire life. Growing up in the City of Tustin and graduating from Foothill High School paved the way to the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Stephanie then decided to pursue a life in law and graduated from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa. After law school, she began her career with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office where she practiced for five years. The Public Defender’s Office allowed Stephanie to explore litigation and fine-tune her cross-examination skills. While there, Stephanie managed a caseload averaging approximately sixty clients from arraignment through trial. Preparing and arguing motions, conducting preliminary hearings and representing clients in jury trials made for full days. Despite the busy schedule, Stephanie has always been determined to maintain a strong relationship with her clients. Stephanie prides herself on keeping her clients informed, explaining each process along the way, and answering any questions in order to put her client at ease. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Stephanie found her calling as a Social Security disability advocate. Throughout her career, Stephanie has prided herself in improving the lives of those in need. Stephanie has had the opportunity to work with two of the top national firms who specialize in Social Security disability representation. Her experience is now at your service. Stephanie will handle your case from the initial application through the Appeals Council. Most successful cases are won at the hearing level. At the hearing, an Administrative Law Judge will use the testimony and opinions of medical and vocational experts to help them in their decision making process.
