Leslie-Mar Louise Niven

Went to Leslie for consultation for Child Custody case. She told me Everything I wanted to hear. After retaining her, her paralegal Linda had me running to their office late at night to get them docmoments they failed to tell me about. Leslie, failed to go to a hearing that would force the other... party (my ex) for his documents that were required. Leslie failed to mention she continued the hearing for no reason. Yes I was charged. Leslie then, at 10:00 p.m. the day before my hearing after talking to her on the phone TOLD ME SHE ISN'T GOING TO REPRESENT ME IN THE MORNING THAT SHE QUITS ON MY CASE. I had to call her beg her to please go there and still she failed me. My bill was about $20,000. I retained a new attorney and when asked to give my file to the new attorney, it cost me another $4000.00 to have them organize my file to continue the case. Very unprofessional, especially her assistant, Linda, and Leslie as well. Over billing, sending documents to wrong people, last minute, more stress then when you started. Not recommended
