To Whom It May Concern: Cynthia (Cindy) Ignatuk represented me in a criminal DUI case, my second DUI in six years. I was suffering from alcoholism and checked myself into a rehab program in South Orange County. I was referred to Cynthia by one of the head counselors who had Cindy represent him in ...the past. It was conveyed to me that Cindy was a fighter who goes above and beyond for her clients to understand their case and provide strategy and solutions for the best possible outcome. During a very emotional time for me and my family, Cindy worked with the courts, provided me with multiple options and thoughtfully executed a very honest supportable defense strategy. I am a commercial real estate executive and depend on my license to drive to earn a living. Coupled with my court case, Cindy represented me in a “refusal” technicality with the DMV which would have resulted in an automatic one-year suspension of my license. Cindy was able to look at the body of evidence and prove that I was not refusing to cooperate with the field sobriety test (I just had a concussion!). The DMV overturned my one-year suspension and I had no restrictions in my ability to drive. My first DUI, I was represented by a very well-known Orange County attorney who I believe did very little to understand the nuances of my case and provide for a proper defense. One manic week in my life I created a lot of wreckage. She was always honest and very professional with good work ethics. She put in extra effort in communicating with the DA's office so that on most Court appearances were very brief. Needless to say she negotiated very doable agreements in both my cases she helped me with. I would highly recommend Cynthia for anybody facing the criminal justice system.
