Christopher David Holt

Christopher Holt joined the Klinedinst, Orange County team in the fall of 2003. He graduated, cum laude, from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in May, 2003. Christopher also received his M.B.A. from the University of Arizona Eller College of Business and Public Administration in May, 2003. Christopher was admitted to the practice of law in California in 2003.

While studying at the University of Arizona, Christopher pursued a wide array of clerking experiences. During the Summer of 2000, Christopher clerked for the staff attorney of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee for Technology, Terrorism and Government information. This opportunity gave Christopher valuable insight into the mysterious workings of Congress and the Federal Government. The next summer, Christopher clerked for Sunbelt Communications, a television station holding company in Las Vegas, gaining experience with media law, first amendment broadcast applications, franchise law and litigation. During his final summer, Christopher worked for the Attorney’s Office of the Town of Oro Valley, a suburb of Tucson, gaining experience with land use law, ordinance development and enforcement, and municipal operations.

Christopher was also active in the law school community. He was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, he was an active student-volunteer on the Justice Project, and he participated in Lawyers for Literacy, an after-school tutoring organization.

Before attending law school, Christopher worked as a portfolio analyst at the Northern Trust in Chicago, where he serviced mainly institutional far eastern clients in China, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. His duties led to a temporary position at the Northern Trust’s London offices. Christopher left the Northern Trust after attaining the title of Trust Officer.

Christopher received his B.S. in Finance with Honors in 1993 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His undergraduate education included a semester at the University of Paderborn in Paderborn, Germany.
