Biography
Mr. Rubinstein has over 39 years of legal experience. He is the former Executive Vice President of United International Investigative Services where he served as the general counsel and interim COO of that rapidly growing international security guard services contractor. His prior professional associations include four years as the Vice President and Counsel of the Loral Aerospace Corporation, seven years with the Office of General Counsel of Ford Motor Company at Ford Aerospace and over six years with the Federal Government including service as a Judge Advocate, at the rank of Captain, in the United States Army for 1977-1980.
Mr. Rubinstein is a member of the State Bar of California, the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rubinstein co-authored The Land Use Controversy in Massachusetts, MIT Press 1975, and authored "Companies Face A Hobson's Choice Regarding Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA)," C&C's Legal Update, Winter 1995. He also writes the OutSPOKEn column that appears regularly in the Southern California Bicyclist magazine.
Mr. Rubinstein's customary fields of practice include business and employment litigation; sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation complaints; unemployment and wage and hour hearings; government and commercial contract law, disputes, protests and claims; trade secrets disputes; corporate law and compliance counseling. He also combines his 45 years of cycling with his legal experience to represent injured cyclists.
