David E Gentry

David E. Gentry is the founding partner at Gentry & Ashton (formerly Law Offices of David E. Gentry). Mr. Gentry knew from a young age that he wanted to be an attorney. He founded the firm in 1978 because he truly wanted to make a difference in the lives of people who were unable to or did not know how to help themselves. His passion is helping injured people and because of this, early on he decided he would only take cases on a no recovery no fee basis, and this is how the firm still operates today.

Over the course of his 37 year career, Mr. Gentry has helped individuals and families obtain multi-million dollar results in Workers Compensation cases, Personal Injury cases and often times cases involving both areas of the law. He specializes in handling major cases involving serious injuries or death with combined issues of Workers Compensation and Personal Injury.

Recognized as an expert in the cross-over field, he has authored articles in statewide publications addressing Workers Compensation/Personal Injury crossover issues and has been a guest on radio shows as a commentator in this specialized area of the law.

Mr. Gentry received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California Berkeley. Thereafter, he worked full-time while attending American College of Law, receiving a Juris Doctorate degree. Admitted to both the State and Federal bars, he is a member of numerous State and National Professional Associations in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury.

In his spare time, Mr. Gentry enjoys watching Angels baseball and spending time with his wife, four children and three grandchildren.
