I am still trying to undo what he did in a few hours one morning in court. He took my retainer, showed up unprepared for an ex party on custody and was able to complain about how he was feeling, show up in sneakers, be arrogant in court, but was blown away by opposing counsel in chambers, despite the... fact I had an excellent case. He scolded me after the ex parte and my kind and gentle questions were answered by him dropping me as a client. I have since found an atty that has turned my case around entirely but it was a very costly and devastating mistake on every level to hire Mr. Crouse. The only thing I think he is good at is writing intimidating letters to opposing counsel and I do believe he knows the law.

I hired this attorney to assist me in my divorce case. I had filed most of the paper work already, but needed help in coming to a property agreement. For 3 months I had no idea what was going on. I called to find out what his plan was for when we went to court. Still didn't get an answer. The day be...fore court we met to discuss my case. To my amazement, HE QUIT!!! He said we didn't mesh. He didn't have an explanation as to why we didn't mesh, or what that meant exactly. He kept $1500.00 of my retainer fee for his services. He did absolutely NOTHING. He should have been honest enough to tell me my case was over his head and he didn't know how to help me. Instead he quit and kept money he didn't earn. Very unprofessional.

Made sure that I understood the complexity of the process, and kept one to two steps ahead of the other lawyer. He helped me win a home run on support based on misinformation from the other ...party. He gets the job done - period.
