Genuine & hardworking (the best attorney I’ve ever been represented by)

Brian Ducker is that needle in the haystack: the one defense attorney who genuinely cares about the outcome of your case and will fight for your freedom as if it’s his own. I’ve had a few tickets and 2 arrests, and I’ve worked at a law office for 8 years, so I’ve seen my fair share of defense att...orneys at work. However, none as adequate, professional, caring, supportive, consistent, or straightforward as Attorney Brian Ducker. He was assigned to my case as an “alternate defender” due to the typical public defender’s office representing an alleged ‘co-defendant’—a title which would later be dropped, along with the charges the DA’s office originally had arrested me for. The first time I heard from Brian, it was a Friday at about 6pm when I received a text from him informing me that he would be representing me in the misdemeanor drug paraphernalia case. I never liked police or the court, and this was the first time an attorney had gone out of his way to introduce himself via text a month before my court date. All my other experiences with attorneys—whether they were private paid attorneys, public defenders, or working pro-bono—was about a 30-second conversation taking place in the hallway of the courtroom as they condescendingly explain why I should plead guilty to all charges. To say the least, my first though was: anyone who cares enough to spend their Friday evening texting new clients with an official introduction surely could never be my attorney. Needless to say, my skepticism got the best of me, and I overtly cussed him out via text for about 15 minutes about how “I didn’t need an attorney” and “who the ‘f’ sent you?” After a polite and calm phone call from Mr. Ducker, it turned out he was in fact my attorney. I couldn’t apologize enough. Despite my rude monologue of misbehaving messages, Brian kept me in-the-loop all throughout my case. Soon, after I agreed to attend several months of private counseling on my own accord, the DA agreed to drop my case. I was so grateful for Mr. Ducker’s diligence, consistent communication, and dedicated work ethic and moral compass. The fun didn’t stop there. Later on, I was subpoenaed as a vital witness in an unrelated case. After a brief text to Brian about my scheduled court appearance, he went out of his way to represent me in this case as well. Even now, I occasionally text him for legal advice at 11pm when I’m confused or my rights were questionably violated. All the 5-star reviews in the world can’t make up for the benevolence, stealth and perseverance Mr. Ducker displays on a day-to-day basis. He truly is one of the good guys in a world where there aren’t many good guys left.
