I grew up in Tustin, California and attended Foothill High School. My father was a professional rodeo cowboy and trained exotic animals for TV and movies. I followed his footsteps into college and professional rodeo, moved up to Madera California (between Fresno and Merced) and on the side trained dogs for hunting, mostly pointers and retrievers.
One day the sheriff of Madera County approached me about starting a police K-9 program. I wasn't making much money in rodeo so I agreed and became a deputy sheriff in 1979. I trained K-9s for both the Madera Sheriff's Office and the Police Department as well as working on patrol and supervising the other dog handlers.
In my spare time, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Cal State Fresno and received a full scholarship to USC Law School in Los Angeles which I could not turn down. On graduation, I went to work for the Mega-firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher then moved to a real estate boutique in Orange County, California. After going through a divorce myself, I became appalled at what the lawyers and the system were doing to children and decided that I could do better than most. So I made family law my mission though I still do a great deal of real estate and business law.

Bob beat the Yahoo!
Bob Beauchamp has been my lawyer for many years. I use him for all the basic stuff (wills, contracts, etc), but, as happens in most people's lives, junk happens. In my case, the junk was a class action law suit against a former employer that should have included me but didn't. This was about the ...

Extremely Quick and Super Accessible
We hired Mr. Beauchamp because we were considering purchasing the building in which our business operates. He structured the deal so that we, as owners, bought the building and leased it to the business. He responds instantly to text messages which is unlike any other lawyer we've ever used and he ...

Such a great lawyer
Robert handled my divorce. He was very responsive and did a great job. He gave me his cell number because I was always afraid of what was next. When he was in court, he made the other lawyer look like a beginner. He was fantastic.

The best real estate lawyer we've come across
We needed a lawyer to complete a real estate transaction that our former lawyer was unable to perform. A colleague referred us to Robert. Robert got the deal done and closed ahead of schedule and under budget. We have used him on both of our subsequent projects and he has performed brilliantly on ...
"Bob is really a great lawyer, and all around great guy. He was my opposing counsel in a case that went to trial and got a great result for his client. While I was disappointed in the result in that trial, I enjoyed very much working with Bob who managed to do great trial work in vigorously representing his client, while at the same time remaining professional and easy to work with. You can't go wrong hiring Bob to be your attorney."
"I recently worked as co-counsel with Robert Beauchamp on a complex divorce matter. Mr. Beauchamp developed a comprehensive strategy and applied it effectively against a difficult opponent. I would not hesitate to work with him again!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Robert Beauchamp is an excellent lawyer. His trial skills are second to none. He possesses enough charm and intellect to make him a worthy opponent in the courtroom."

Private reproval, public disclosure issued in CA, 2006
updated on 08/28/2014Private reproval, public disclosure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“This complaint, which resulted in a private reproval by the Bar, was made by my former father-in-law in my own divorce. The extent to which I was so poorly represented is the very reason that I began practicing family law, so that something like this never happens to a client of mine.”
