Mr. Minna opened his own Law Practice in November 1995 and was ultimately invited to become a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has been named a Lifetime Member the National Registry of Who=s Who . He has tried approximately thirty five (35) Civil Jury Trials (Auto v. Auto, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Breach of Contract and Medical Malpractice) and has handled nearly two thousand (2,000) cases with an approximate total in settlements and judgements in excess of fifteen million dollars ($15,000.000.00). Mr. Minna is a Member of the California State Bar, a past Board member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, admitted to practice in the all of the courts in the State of California as well as in Federal Court in the Central District of California and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Orange County Superior Court.
Mr. Minna’s lifetime of service has made him uniquely qualified to understand and personally respond to the needs of his clients, including keeping them completely informed about their case at every stage, while his experience and tenacity have proven his willingness and ability to stand up to the unsympathetic, cold and indifferent practices of the insurance and medical communities and their ruthless hired guns.
Mr. Minna began his Law Career in a boutique Personal Injury law firm in Newport Beach, CA handling a varied caseload, including auto accidents, Slip-Trip and Falls (premises Liability cases), dog bites, products liability and medical malpractice cases. The law firm went on to become one of the premier Breast Implant/Pharmaceutical Mass Tort firms in Southern California where Mr. Minna became a Partner within his first four (4) years of practice.
Mr. Minna, a proud Military and Law Enforcement veteran was raised in Southern California. He has been married to his wife Vicky for forty two (42) years, has four (4) sons and four (4) grandchildren (25 Yr. Old Granddaughter, Jordan, a U.S. Navy Veteran, 19 Yr. Old Grandson Jake, 4 Yr. Old Granddaughter, Brooklyn and 2 Yr. Old Grandson, Cody).
After graduation from Carson High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. In 1971, after a grueling period of intense training, including Army Airborne Parachuting and Ranger Mountain Climbing, Naval Second Class Scuba Diving, U.S. Air Force Aircrew Survival training and Emergency Combat Medical training (Honor Graduate), he was one (1) in approximately five thousand (5,000) applicants to graduate and earn the coveted Maroon Beret as an elite United States Air Force Pararescue Specialist, initially assigned in the South Pacific to assist in NASA=s Astronaut Recovery efforts, civilian and combat rescue/recovery duties.
After receiving an Honorable Discharge, Mr. Minna became a Sworn Police Officer with the Fountain Valley Police Department serving for eleven (11) years in patrol as a Senior Officer, Crime Scene Investigator, Police Reserve Coordinator, Field Training Officer (FTO), Undercover Special Enforcement (vice & drug operations), S.W.A.T. team (Sniper-FBI Trained), Detective (fraud/forgery, robbery homicide).
While working full time as a police officer, Mr. Minna earned his bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California-Redlands and then his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law, and was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Fraternity and Judge on the Student Body Court.
