OUTCOME: Granted along with fees $5,000
Request for Order for temporary spousal support and fees granted. In addition, Wife received half of the monthly pension. Court awarded $5,000 in attorney's fees.
OUTCOME: Spousal Support based upon Husband's earning ability and $25,000 in attorney's fees for my client.
The Court granted my request to assess Husband an earning ability after his quitting his employment 4 days after separation. Husband had presented evidence that the accounting firm he was working for ... jeopardized his license since they were under investigation. Issue Two: Husband was demanding that Wife reimburse him for the loan he made to the community from his inheritance. Husband had Wife sign a Promissory Note for over $80,000 during the marriage. Her signature looked odd. But she admitted she signed it - it was just under Duress. Husband had been hounding her to sign it for weeks! Order: Husband is assessed an earning ability for the purposes of setting proper support amounts. Promissory Note was set aside and the Court granted $25,000 in attorney's fees for my client, Wife. Note: Husband's attorney's fees were nearly twice my fees, as usual I am cheaper than the other side.
OUTCOME: Order allowing my client to move to Germany with the minor children granted.
Mother's move to Germany with 2 minor son's and her current Husband who is in the military - granted.
OUTCOME: Motion to Set Aside Judgment Granted
My Motion to Set Aside Family Law Judgment entered against Wife due to inequality of division of assets and debts, granted. Judgment contained language that court did not catch upon review until we br ... ought it to their attention including unequal division of pension, missing accounting and division of stocks and also lacking in proper support amounts.
OUTCOME: Court confirmed my advisement.
As court appointed Minor's Counsel, the court wanted research and advise on Father's home schooling son and repeating 7th grade. Mother contended that it was only to improve son's chances in baseball ... in High School. Holding son back wasn't in his best interests but was orchestrated to improve son's future baseball position.
