This case was involving litigation of a Trust and my Client, who was previously a Beneficiary, was intentionally omitted pursuant to an Amendment that was brought to light during the mediation. Althoug ... h my Client previously was entitled to assets within the Trust, based on the newly produced Amendment, she was entitled to $0. Despite this, following a four (4) mediation, the case was settled in favor of my Client for a value which came out to approximately my Client's inheritance before the Amendment.

My Client sold a Property for $2,200,000 and the Beneficiary of the Trust, which owned the Property, disputed the sale and tried to block it. The Beneficiary filed an Ex Parte Application for a TRO and ... OSC re Preliminary Injunction. The Judge granted the TRO pending the OSC re Preliminary Injunction. Following oral arguments at the OSC re Preliminary Injunction, the Judge denied the Preliminary Injunction and Dissolved the TRO. The sale moved forward for $2,200,000 in cash.

My Client's brother had a substantial financial estate which he intended to distributed pursuant to his original plan (30 years before his passing in 2022). As my Client's brother's health rapidly decl ... ined, my Client's niece had a power of attorney executed and completely rearranged my Client's brother's financial estate to benefit herself and her mother. Following several demand letters, the financial accounts were corrected to reflect my Client's brother's original intent.

Fo ... llowing extensive written discovery and depositions, I obtained a settlement for my Client which provided him approximately 80% of the estate. Further, I was able to ensure that my Client was protected from potential defamation by including liquidated damage provisions in the settlement agreement, should any confidentiality be breached.
