Taylor Nicole Smith

I was raised in Orange, California, where competing in club soccer for many years shaped my competitive drive and disciplined mindset. Through the sport, I learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and determination—traits that continue to define how I approach my legal practice. I am motivated by challenges and grounded in a strong desire to advocate effectively for those who need dedicated representation.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and went on to receive my Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California. During law school, I served as a Fellow at the Center for Children and Family Rights, was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board—where I held the position focused on Juvenile Justice—and advocated in the Special Education Clinic. In recognition of my commitment to protecting children’s rights, I was honored with the 2017 Outstanding Graduate in Children’s Rights Award. My experience in personal injury law began in college, where I worked as an assistant and later in reception. I ultimately returned to the field as an attorney to continue supporting clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling and have visited 28 countries to date. I also spend time snowboarding, reading, and being with family, friends, and my dog. As an animal advocate who values the outdoors and community involvement, I am guided by the belief that we should "bloom where you are planted." I am committed to working diligently and making a meaningful difference for those I represent.
