Michael Robert Jones

This review is in regards to an experience I had with Michael Jones when he helped me with a legal issue. Michael was an acquaintance of mine in 2024, when I was rear ended in an auto accident, and he chose to provide some "informal guidance" regarding my case. While I appreciated his willingness to ...help, I didn't think his advice or input was accurate, validating, or professional, and I felt it was best to leave this review in order to improve his services through honest feedback. Michael told me (without seeing pictures of the damage to my vehicle or inspecting my vehicle himself) that my car was "probably fine". I brought my vehicle for an inspection at Caliber Collision (a reputable body shop that partners with insurance companies to repair accident damages), and there was in fact at least $2400 worth of damages to the vehicle. Michael also talked down to me and told me that other firms were unlikely to accept my accident case, and he didn't foresee me getting more than about $4-5K from the insurance company. Both of these statements turned out to be at least somewhat inaccurate - I later called a few of his competitors, and Younglove Law Group expressed a willingness to take my case. Further, I was recently able to recently settle with Progressive Insurance (without an attorney) for around $6700, which was more than the numbers he threw out. Based on my experience with Michael, I didn't get the impression he took my matter seriously, nor did he have much respect for my intelligence, nor did he appreciate the gravity of my situation. He also led me to believe I would not be able to find legal help elsewhere, which was harmful and untrue. Looking back I was better off finding a firm that specializes in personal injury/auto accident cases and has extensive experience in this field of law. This is just a truthful account of my experience with Michael in 2024/2025, and I hope his ability to assess personal injury cases as well as his attitude towards potential clients has improved since then.
