John Dimuzio Jr

J. R. Dimuzio is an associate with Berstein Law, P.C., focusing his practice on comprehensive business and intellectual property services, including offensive and defensive portfolio development, strategic business planning, and litigation representation.

J. R. tailors his representation to his clients. He attempts to mirror their spirit, with the aim of providing counsel that is truly personal.

Since beginning practice in 2014, J. R. has represented individuals and businesses seeking to build, develop, protect, and enforce intellectual property rights. He has handled a wide variety of matters including trademark, trade secret, copyright, and business litigation. In doing so, J. R. has represented clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), United States District Court, Superior Court of California, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

J. R. is mindful of the relationship between a business’s intellectual property and growth. He understands the detriment caused when a business’s rights are infringed. Because of this, he dedicates the time to create individualized strategies to facilitate success in both corporate planning and litigation.

J. R. believes the best decisions result from informed planning and intentional action. He strives to help clients create business models that are clear, workable, and compelling to consumers. Additionally, he provides his clients litigation plans that are adaptable to the rigors a law suit imposes.

He is ready and willing to engage in thoughtful creation and maintenance of a client’s business, by aiding the client with the creation of a vision, model, and plan appropriate to the particulars of a given situation.

J. R.  attended San Diego State University where he received a Bachelors of Science emphasizing in Television, Film, and New Media. He earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School where he served as Administrative Justice to the Moot Court Honors Board and was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. He competed in multiple national competitions during his law school career and was awarded a best brief award in the Cardozo/BMI Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition.
