Here on B1/2 visa, embassy at home gave visa till Aug.5, but was stamped for 6 months which exceeds the Aug, 5 date. Plz advise!

If properly filed, the pending I-485 will allow him to stay in the U.S. in an authorized period of stay (and work) if the category moves back.
Signed Form I-275, Withdrawal of Appl'n for Admission. But CBP maybe made a formal determination of inadmissibility. Help!

Too many moving parts here to speculate. CBP might've made an incorrect finding, the determination may have been entered incorrectly, the embassy...
