Brent Dean Rose

Mr. Brent D. Rose helps individuals, families and businesses protect and expand their most valuable assets as well as leave a legacy for their community and those they love. Mr. Rose has served as Of Counsel and mentor for other attorneys, including Max Alavi and Phil Shekerlian, for over 10 years.

In addition to managing his own accounting, law, and tax practice for over 30 years, Mr. Rose has extensive and diverse experience in accounting, financial services, and law firms (regional, national, and international) in California, Maryland and Utah creating and implementing comprehensive business, charitable, estate, financial and tax planning for individuals, families and closely held businesses (corporations, LLCs, and partnerships).

Mr. Rose has a Masters in Tax from Weber State University, as well as a Law Degree from Brigham Young University, has prepared and reviewed thousands of estate, gift, trust, and income tax returns for his own clients and those of other firms as well as represented taxpayers in examinations by the IRS and CA FTB. He has also assisted taxpayers and their representatives with as well as conducted examinations (audits) of income, employment, estate, gift, and trust tax returns while at the IRS for over 10 years. Mr. Rose was born, raised, educated, and began his own accounting, law and tax practice in Ogden, Utah, in 1992 but now considers himself a “Californian with Utah pioneer roots” as he has lived, provided community service, and worked in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles and Orange County since 2004.

*According to California Rule of Professional Conduct 1-400(E)(8), an attorney is “of counsel” if there is a “close, personal, continuous and regular relationship” with a named firm. The “of counsel” can maintain a separate source of work, so long as conflicts and other ethical implications do not arise.
