Charles P. Farris

After handling thousands of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases at other firms in southern California, Charles and his wife Beatrice launched Farris Law Firm in 2024 to provide a local alternative for clients seeking criminal defense representation. Farris Law Firm focuses on educating clients about the system and providing best-in-class legal support for their cases, while avoiding scare tactics and high-pressure sales methods.

The team prefers to take on a limited number of active cases in their local area at any one time so that they can focus more on each individual case - a striking difference to the high-volume firms that are typical in Los Angeles. Rather than an office that is many miles away from the nearest courthouse, with a “prestigious” street address, Farris Law Firm is located in downtown Burbank one block from the courthouse. While some firms take on cases hundreds of miles away, with no experience or history in that particular jurisdiction, Farris Law Firm is dedicated to a more local practice in the Valley.

By maintaining excellent relationships with judges, prosecutors, and court staff, Farris Law Firm is able to help clients navigate the perils of the criminal justice system without so-called “attack dog” tactics that many times result in disadvantages for the client.

Charles is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA). He is a panel member at the SFVBA, where he accepts referral cases from the community.
