My accident was on October 22, 2016. The only time I was actually able speak to said attorney was the first time I called his office. I retained him as my attorney and began my treatment. The 6 month statute of limitations fell on Saturday April 22nd. According to his secretary, they would still be a...ble to file my claim because the 6 month statute fell on a weekend and not on a business day. On the following Monday morning, I received a phone call from Norman asking me what my address was and what had happened the day of my accident. When I voiced my frustration with his handling of the case and told him that I would be writing a review warning others, he promptly told me that he would be dropping me as a client and put a lien against my file so that he would be able to reclaim his fees for doing a lot of nothing. How much could he have done if he wasn't even familiar with my case, didn't have my address, and had waited until the last minute to file a claim on my behalf? Then he emailed me threatening to sue me for defamation of his name if I posted a bad review regarding his practice. Wow. Class act. So on behalf of the good people who helped me with my injuries on a contingency basis, I will do whatever I can to make sure that they are compensated for their help. Again, please know that I have never posted any type of review good or bad for any reason, but I feel obligated so that another does not fall into the hands of this foul mouthed poor excuse of an attorney.

I hired mr. Fernandez on a case he took it with no hesitation, He claimed he could get me six figures plus. He said both my knees had to be replaced twice and I would wind up in a wheelchair , two weeks before the deadline date I called his office he said that they are a very professional office and... would file my case in time. About two and a half monthsI went to call his office but first I called the courthouse to see if he filed he never did . He would not return calls again so I reached out to write a review, right away he got back with me stating he was going to put me and my dad in jail , sue us both . I couldn't believe it,he put more energy into verbally attacking me then anytime doing anything on my case at all . and he claimed he called and left a message and wrote a letter dumping me I never received either one . It's very sad to have put my hands into such an attorney that would in the end slam my case and of course he has a habit of claiming I wasn't a client, or it was somebody that was just competitors writing bad things, If you look at some of these reviews, the cases are pretty much the same he's done this to more than one person. I tried in the past to write a review on his site but for some reason it didn't happen, I'm trying again right now I am sickened by the fact that a man would turn around and take a case claiming six figures plus in all this time along with that he had me get a journal book and write everyday the problems I was having just physically walking doing anything with my knees.if you would have done this in the beginning and gave me time to find someone else I would have had money from this, but now I have nothing but heartache stay away from this lawyer he's bad news.

I contacted Mr. Fernandez after an accident at a major retailer; he spoke to me for an hour and sent an "investigator" to have me sign some docs the following day. However, he passed me on to his partner law firm, and things went downhill from there. They were not responsive (even the paralegal) and ...did not investigate the scene. I cc'd Mr. Fernandez on several emails to his partner, no response. Even when I wrote a letter outlining the problems I was having, I did not hear back from Mr. Fernandez or his partner. I would assume that if there was a problem with the case, the injury or the medical, they would have let me know instead of not communicating. Ultimately, I had to terminate the relationship. To clarify a couple of things: The first time I posted this review, Mr. Fernandez posted a rebuttal stating that he never heard of me, and this was probably a fake review posted by one of his competitors. Upon seeing this, I sent yet another email, on 1//24/12, to refresh his memory on me and the case in question. Also, when I refer to a partner law firm, the case ended up being handled by one of the at-counsel attorneys using his firm’s name, instead of being handled by Mr. Fernandez, although he was the person I spoke to and was under the impression that he would be handling the case.
