NEW William has been my attorney for over 3 years in a very lengthy very difficult custody case litigation . William has always been available to me when I needed him even on weekends if we needed to prepare for court . In 1997, as a college student, I hired Bill to represent me for my child custody dispute in Los Angeles. Bill was brilliantly strategic in handling my matter while also aggressive in doing the right thing. I remember during my deposition when he told me "the truth shall set you free". Well, it did. A...fter 1.5 years of litigation, I was awarded primary physical custody of my infant daughter. Today, 19 years later, my daughter is a Dean's List college student. So I owe a debt of gratitude to Bill for his work nearly two decades ago in setting the stage for the rest of my life (and my daughter's). Thank you.

RUN DONT WALK!! I hired this lawyer without doing my homework, expensive lesson! The first red flag should have been that anything you find on the internet about this lawyer is extremely recent! Hmmm? In my opinion he was extremely difficult to communicate and work with. On the few occasions I did... see or talk to him, he was scattered and all over the place. He NEGLECTED to inform me of a court date, and sent me into mediation with NO guidance or direction, or even explained to me what to expect! Then YELLED at me when he seen the mediation agreement!! Needless to say relationship terminated! I retained him with almost a $6k retainer, he refunded less than $3k and only represented me for a couple of months. Again expensive lesson! Would I recommend william strachan?? To no one EVER!!

My experience with William Strachan was great. He handled my divorce from my husband of over 10 years. It was an extremely difficult situation because my ex-husband's attorney kept mistakes. Bill was able to identify all these mistakes and argue in court about rules of court and law. He was very orga...nized and thorough. My court paperwork was perfect. Our case was so strong that my ex-husband agreed to settle out of court for a short term payment of spousal support.
