Never in my life did I think I would be so impressed by an attorney's work. In May 2023, my last EB-1A application was denied, and I wasn’t pleased with my previous attorney's efforts. Seeking a better option, I consulted with several attorneys and was recommended to Emily by a friend. During the ...consultation meeting, she provided a comprehensive explanation of my situation and the available options. Impressed by her clarity, I decided to work with her for my next applications, specifically for the O-1 visa. Having completed three O-1 applications before, I thought I knew what to expect from an attorney. However, upon reviewing the filing package prepared by Emily, I must say I was deeply impressed. While my previous attorney seemed to focus on simply filling out forms and composing a basic cover letter with the materials provided, Emily went above and beyond. She conducted extensive research on my job, clearly articulating my responsibilities and achievements to the USCIS. The package was exceptionally well-organized, demonstrating her understanding of the information the USCIS seeks. This package alleviated much of my anxiety, and I believe that, if I were the reviewing officer, I would grant approval swiftly. In fact, I did receive approval in just five business days without any Requests for Evidence (RFE), suggesting the officer was equally impressed by her work. My previous attorney was not adept at explaining things to me. He would present options and expect me to seek information online, neglecting to fully explain the associated risks. This approach ultimately jeopardized my immigration status. I am immensely grateful to Emily for not only identifying the risks but also assisting in rectifying my status through a nunc pro tunc request. Once again, I was astounded by the thorough research she conducted and the meticulous organization of the filing. The nunc pro tunc request is discretionary, meaning USCIS is not obligated to approve it. However, we secured approval within five business days. If this doesn't signify she is the best attorney, I don't know what does. The immigration application process is exhausting and intense for all individuals seeking to stay in the US. What I truly appreciate about Emily is that, throughout my application process, I felt she was on my side—actively working to help me solve problems rather than merely pointing out challenges. This meant a lot to me, especially considering the anxiety and depression I experienced during this process. Emily addressed all my concerns, and I am sincerely grateful to her.
