Biography
Cheryl is a founding partner of Cordial Family Lawyers, LLP. Cheryl’s background in social psychology and complex business transactions make her an effective mediator and counselor to those looking for sensitivity and financial acumen in family law cases.
Cheryl has always been passionate about learning how people connect and resolve conflict. This passion led her to research in the field of social psychology while at the University of California Berkeley, where she graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
Prior to founding Cordial Family Lawyers, LLP, Cheryl worked at an international law firm and start-up company, assisting parties to peacefully negotiate and complete a wide range of complex business transactions, invaluable experience for families with complex financial issues.
Cheryl also studied and worked for eight years in South Korea and is fluent in both spoken and written Korean. She now lives in Orange County with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, theater, and spending time with her family.

Cheryl is the best there is!
Cheryl is the absolute best! Getting divorced is not a fun process and is fraught with stress and anxieties. However, Cheryl has a way of making you feel calm, comforted and safe as she is incredibly knowledgeable and truly wants the best for her clients. Highly recommend her!
