Attorney Kompa won case across-the-board in both the trial court and on appeal. The Court of Appeal affirmed a Judgment of Dismissal in attorney Kompa's favor, holding his enforcement of the money judgment he had won for his client was privileged.

Attorney Kompa defeated the Debtor's Plan of Reorganization to pay his client, the Lender, a significantly lower interest rate than what was fair and equitable under the Bankruptcy Code.
