A Traumatizing and Unprofessional Experience

I would give zero stars if I could. I am surprised Brady Schwartz has not been disbarred. Hiring this attorney was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. I retained him to represent me during one of the most traumatic periods of my life—a domestic violence case where I desperately needed an att...orney who was prepared, responsive, and willing to advocate for my safety. Instead, I experienced what I believe was a consistent pattern of negligence, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior. Throughout my representation, he repeatedly blurred professional boundaries by venting to me about his own personal life, including telling me that his wife had served him with divorce papers. As a client and Domestic Violence survivor, I should never have been put in the position of listening to my attorney’s personal problems while my own case required urgent attention. Communication was consistently unreliable. There always seemed to be another excuse for missed deadlines, lack of progress, or failure to follow through. I repeatedly had to chase him for updates instead of him proactively managing my case. Most concerning was his failure to adequately follow up with detectives and law enforcement regarding my case. In my experience, this lack of diligence contributed to critical delays, and ultimately the criminal case against my abuser was dropped. As a result, I was left feeling completely unprotected during an already terrifying situation. Domestic violence survivors place an enormous amount of trust in the attorneys they hire. We are often depending on them not only to navigate the legal system but to help protect our safety. I never felt that my case was treated with the urgency or professionalism it deserved. If you are looking for an attorney who is organized, communicative, proactive, and fully invested in your case, my experience did not reflect those qualities. I cannot recommend his services based on what I went through, and I sincerely hope no other client has to experience the same level of frustration, disappointment, and fear that I did - and still do daily.

Negligence, misconduct, and inadequacy in practicing law

Over the past two years, we have experienced persistent negligence and ethical malpractice by Brady Schwartz in handling our case. Initially retained on a 20% contingency basis, the engagement was subsequently increased to 30% after collaboration with a civil law attorney JR, but he failed to advance... our interests or provide adequate representation. In addition, he was paid $2,500 to initiate statute-of-limitations claims, but he failed to do so. Brady Schwartz’s conduct involved missing key deadlines under statutes of limitations and neglecting to follow up with the investigative representatives in charge of our case. His communication was consistently poor, marked by significant delays throughout our interactions. There were multiple violations of the attorney-client relationship, including misrepresentations, false promises on case updates and timelines, and numerous excuses for the communication lapses. We have repeatedly requested proof of his work, the complete client file, and a full accounting and explanation for the $2,500 payment. These requests were ignored, and the attorney failed to produce the required documentation. We have formally terminated the attorney’s services. We do not recommend Brady Schwartz.

Great results

Brady really came to my rescue and helped me navigate a really intimidating justice system. He explained the law clearly, and communicated with the court professionally, and got a great result.
