Lisa A. Lawrence began her legal career working in Business Litigation. Starting in 2007, Lisa began a solo practice working in tax law, willls, and trusts & estates. Also in 2007, she became an Of Counsel to Julian M. Baum & Associates, specializing in ERISA and insurance "bad faith" claims. Her practice in this area is limited to the work she does for Julian M. Baum & Associates. She continues to do wills and trust & estate law for her own practice.
Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lisa, to the dismay of her entire family, never became a Packers Fan! Raised in Southern California, Lisa went to the University of Southern California where she completed 3 bachelor degrees in Philosophy, Religion & Psychology.
Finding these degrees mostly unmarketable, Lisa attended the University of California, (Hastings College of the Law) where she met classmate Julian Baum. They formed a lifelong friendship as well as a professional one. First, Lisa hired Julian to be her attorney. Then, Julian coerced Lisa into becoming Of Counsel to his firm!
Lisa is a member of the California State Bar, as well as a member of the United States District Courts: Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California.
Lisa has also run 2 businesses and a corporation. She loves to read and travel the world!
